More Tough Than Mudder

Okay - so long gone are your days of working upper body one day, lower body next day with 30 minutes on the recumbent bike (the one were you sit down).

You've mastered the kip, you've cycled more miles than any rider not on steroids and have even thought about training people yourself. But you've hit a point where you're lacking the motivation to want to workout anymore.

You need something to MAKE you wanna' work out. You need something to train for! So you go ahead and be that guy who decides to compete in the next "Tough Mudder", or the next marathon or half-marathon, or something like that. (I personally would want to try out for that TV show, Wipeout.)

And then you try to convince all your friends to do it with you. "Yeah - and we could go there with matching team t-shirts, and we'll train for it and push each other."

But nobody is as jazzed about it as you are.

Unfortunately that's just how the world is. Few people really care to see who truly is the best at exercising.

Do you want to do something for real? A real sport?

What about something of a "white collar fight club."  It would be sanctioned by USA Boxing and be completely safe. A doctor and medical personal would be on hand for every bout. Contestants will use headgear. Most importantly, contestants will be evenly matched up with someone of their same weight class and same level of experience.

I'll offer a special 90 day package of personal training and meal planning to anyone interested. Believe me when I say YOU'LL BE IN THE BEST SHAPE OF YOUR LIFE.

It would be exactly like what you would see at the Golden Gloves.
Bouts are scheduled for 3 rounds. Each round lasts no longer than 3 minutes and you get 1 full minute break in between rounds.

So there will be nothing that you have to climb or that will electrocute you , but you will be facing another moving, thinking person who will be trying to punch you in the face.

This is the stuff you'll be able to tell your grand kids about. You really want to test yourself?
